Ayla Novruz is a doctoral student studying Clinical and Behavioral Medicine psychology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Her approach to therapy is collaborative and caring as she strives to establish an accepting and supportive environment while embracing a person-centered approach. She strives to deliver culturally informed, evidence-, and strengths-based techniques. In therapy, Ayla helps her patients achieve insight into their behavior and emotion while developing self-acceptance and self-compassion. Ayla treats her patients with warmth and respect. She works with individuals of all ages and is supervised by Dr. Jaclyn Halpern.
In her free time, Ayla enjoys trying out new cooking recipes and baking, traveling, and finding new tv shows to watch on Netflix/Hulu.
