Faith Sproul, PhD

Bio

Dr. Faith Sproul is a licensed psychologist with a focus of psychological assessment and evaluation. She received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia. She completed internship training from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Center for Autism Research and the Philadelphia Public School District. She also completed extensive research at the PennChild Research Center in the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Education, with a focus on early childhood social-emotional curriculum development and implementation and measurement of early childhood outcomes in applied settings. She completed postdoctoral work in a private practice setting in Philadelphia, where she focused on psychotherapy for children and adults, as well as psychological testing services. Post-licensure, Dr. Sproul, in addition to maintaining a small private practice, served as an assistant professor for five years in the Clinical Psy.D. program at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, DC Campus. She provided training, supervision, and teaching for psychology students and interns. Prior to full-time private practice she was Clinical Director for one year at Integrated Health Resources, a Core Service Agency (CSA) through the DC Department of Behavioral Health. 

 

Clinically, Dr. Sproul has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has provided services and consultation to children, families, and teachers in schools and behavioral health settings. She has provided services for learning disabiled, ADHD, and Austic children. She has also provided a range of assessment services for adults. A considerable amount of her time has also been spent working with underrepresented populations, including research and clinical work with Head Start, a national low-income program for families in need.

 

Within the SOAR Program, Dr. Sproul provides comprehensive assessments to individuals from early childhood to adult. She is experienced in providing detailed evaluations tailored to the needs of the individual, in a warm and supportive environment. Services related to psychological testing and assessment include neuropsychological and psychoeducational testing for children experiencing a wide range of concerns. She also completes early childhood assessment. Adult assessment services include those related to ADHD, trauma, cognitive decline, dementia, personality, and basic psychological functioning. In her spare time, Dr. Sproul enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her daughter and dog at home.
