Ryan Hinojosa, Ph.D.
Dr. Ryan Hinojosa provides psychological services to patients across
the lifespan. He obtained specialized training in the assessment of
neurocognitive impairments secondary to neurological conditions,
including epilepsy, vascular disease, and Alzheimer’s disease. He has
in-depth experience evaluating neurodevelopmental and psychiatric
differences, including Autism and ADHD.
Dr. Hinojosa received his doctorate in School Psychology from Texas
A&M University in College Station, an APA-accredited program that
afforded him rigorous training at several major institutions,
including Texas Children’s Hospital. He completed his pre-doctoral
internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in
Houston. He returned to UTHealth to complete a two-year postdoctoral
fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Dr. Hinojosa is licensed to
practice in DC and MD; he is also authorized to provide telepsychology
services in PSYPACT-participating jurisdictions.
Through WBMA, LLC's SOAR Program, Dr. Hinojosa provides
neuropsychological testing, parenting support, and individual therapy.
When testing, Dr. Hinojosa creates individualized reports and
recommendations to support both strengths and vulnerabilities. His
therapy is eclectic and highly personalized. Dr. Hinojosa will also be
providing some supervision to SOAR's doctoral students. He is excited
to be designing an executive functioning coaching program, which he
will be directing within SOAR.
In his free time, Dr. Hinojosa enjoys being outdoors, traveling,
cooking, tennis, playing music, the theatre, and spending time with
family and friends. He is passionate about volunteering and giving
back to the community.
