Bio

Jordan is a doctoral extern from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County under the supervision of Dr. Jaclyn Halpern. Prior to his pursuit of a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, Jordan received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Science Research Methods from the University of Washington, Tacoma. Jordan is an LGBTQ-affirming therapist who uses an intersectional framework in his therapeutic work with clients. He strives to cultivate an inclusive environment free from judgment or societal expectation, as authenticity from both client and therapist is a key component to Jordan’s therapeutic style. Jordan enjoys using a collaborative approach to help clients understand, discover, and use their strengths to help them reach their therapeutic goals. In his free time, Jordan enjoys playing the trombone and trying out new recipes. Currently, his favorite piece to listen to is First Suite in Eb for Military Band by Gustav Holst.
